Resource Management Plan for Colonial National Historical Park

Colonial National Historical Park. 1999. Resource Management Plan for Colonial National Historical Park. Park

This resources management plan (RMP) was developed to provide direction and continuity and to establish priorities for the protection and preservation of Park resources. This plan presents the general resource management directions and objectives described in the Park's Statement for Management and General Management Plan (GMP). The RMP functions as a broad action plan that defines resource management (cultural and natural) issues and describes what management, monitoring, or research actions are needed to restore damaged resources, mitigate current adverse impacts, or protect sensitive resources from current or future threats. This plan serves as the parent document for even more specific Park action plans such as Geographic Information Management Plan, Water Resource Management Plan, and Fire Management Plan that are listed in the appendix.
