Brief Description: Report on area from which Water Chemistry Data will be collected. Fulll Description: Surface waters will be monitored at 12 stations (see Figure 1). The stations have been selected to provide data on the quality of waters flowing into and out the refuge and pertaining to the rate of self-purificati on of the tributaries of the swamp. In addition many of the stations have been purposely selected co coincide with stations used in previous water quality -studies to allow for long term comparisons with historical data. Ten of these stations coincide with the stations monitored by Guillaudeu, et al., in 1975. Twelve of these stations also coincide with stations monitored by the Service (1976-80): and fourteen coincide with stations monitored by the EPA (1984-85). One new station has been established on the upper reaches of Primrose Brook as a control site.
