Schoodic algae final report

Brawley S. 2009. Schoodic algae final report. 1700-0604-NNS. Acadia National Park

From the introduction: "The primary objective of this research was to evaluate the shore biota of the former Navy Base site on Schoodic Peninsula, which is now part of the Schoodic Education and Research Center. This evaluation is required to determine how distinctive the biota of the SERC shore are, relative to other shores in ANP, and to make management recommendations to the NPS based upon our findings. I first summarize the status of the promised deliverable in the contract. Next, I detail the key protocols used in the research. Finally, there is an executive summary of the findings of the research and my recommendations to the NPS."
