Measuring and modeling Critical Loads for 522 watersheds and a total of 92 streams were calibrated using MAGIC and a critical ANC indicator value was prepared. Large Appendix on responses of aquatic biota to stream acidification in Shenandoah National Park, VA. Results indicate that more than half of the streams within the study region receive current acidic deposition that is higher than steady state Critical Loads(CL). Mapping and exceedence calculations represent examples of one approach to the CL process.
