Natural Resource Inventory and Monitoring, Air Quality Related Values
Natural Resource Inventory and Monitoring, Air Quality Related Values.
Air quality related values are resources sensitive to air quality, including vegetation, wildlife, water quality, and soils. This inventory identifies whether categories of these values are sensitive for a given park. The AQRV Inventory contains information that identifies whether general categories of AQRVs (visibility, vegetation, surface waters, soils, and fish and wildlife) are sensitive for a given park. Information is based on the best available data relative to park resources and pollution sensitivity, and is updated when more information is available. The inventory is considered to be complete for a park unit when sensitive AQRVs have been identified. The AQRV inventory is considered complete when AQRV information is made available in GIS format and thresholds of sensitivity are identified for AQRVs.
