This feasibility report proposes the possibility of creating a Ocmulgee National Heritage Corridor in order to increase an understanding of the Ocmulgee River and to raise awareness of the adjacent cultural and natural resources. The feasibility report identified four areas that would be focused on: environmental education, economic stimulation, historic preservation and cultural recreation. Proposed boundaries for the National Heritage Corridor were given along with management suggestions.
