Investigation of marine algal assemblage and seasonal variation on Cumberland Island National Seashore jetty

Richardson JP. Investigation of marine algal assemblage and seasonal variation on Cumberland Island National Seashore jetty. 1986-1987

This research project investigates the benthic marine algal flora occurring on the jetty at teh south end of Cumberland Island National Seashore throughout one year. The study will provide missing information on environmental conditions and a resulting natural marine ecosystem at the south end of Cumberland Island National Seashore. The study will collect, record, analyze and document environmental conditions, ecosystem structure and natural variations at a location of the Seashore that is most likely to be impacted by planned channel alteration activites in the vicinity.
