A description of some herpetological records. FIELD WORK: August 1971. REPTILES: Garter Snakes were seen near the shore of Jordan Pond. Eastern Smooth Green Snakes were seen along the edge of a small swamp on the trail just south of the Beehive. AMPHIBIANS: Green Frogs were seen near Jordan Pond, in swamp east of Champlain Mountain, in Bubble Pond, and at a beaver dam north of Sieur de Monts Spring. Pickerel Frogs were noted from Sieur de Monts Spring area and at the beaver dam north of Sieur de Monts Springs /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /MOUNT DESERT ISLAND/Sieur de Monts Spring/Jordan Pond/Champlain Mountain/Bubble Pond/ GIS : Reptiles and Amphibians: Contains observation localities
