FLORA - VASCULAR: Lists vascular plant, moss, lichen, and fern species, and discusses their distribution and general abundance within 4 vegetation belts (zones) in the adlittoral (non-submersible) zone. Evaporation rates, total radiation, and soil pH were measured in each zone. FLORA - LIVERWORTS: Reports Ptilidium ciliare and Bazzania trilobata on the red spruce forest floor; notes Bazzania is particularly abundant. FLORA - MOSS: Lists 17 species and the vegetation zones they occur in. FLORA - LICHEN: Lists 42 species and the vegetation zones they occur in.
