FLORA - VASCULAR: Notes percent of tree species in the Pickett Mountain mixed conifer stand and lists 25 associated plant species. INSECTS & ARACHNIDS: Notes the order and family of species collected from the Pickett Mountain region. Only occasionally are they identified to species. AMPHIBIANS: Notes three species from the Pickett Mountain region, 2 unidentified salamanders and Rana palustris. REPTILES: The Common Garter Snake was noted. BIRDS: Seven species were noted during the summer at Pickett Mountain. MAMMALS: Four species were noted from the Pickett Mountain region; Peromyscus, Evotimus (Clethrionomys), Sciuroptens (Glaucomys?), and Sciurus (Tamiascurius?) /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /MOUNT DESERT ISLAND/Pickett Mountain/Huguenot Head/ GIS-CATEGORY 3 ; Insects, Mammals: Notes some species found in the Pickett Mountain area
