Norton SA, Evans GC, Kahl JS. 1997. Comparison of Hg and Pb fluxes to hummocks and hollows of ombrotrophic Big Heath Bog and to nearby Sargent Mt. Pond, Maine, USA. Water, Air, & Soil Pollution. 100:271-286

Took cores from Big Heath Bog and Sargent Mt. Pond in Acadia National Park and analyzed them for major and trace metals and dated them using 210Pb.
