'An archeological survey was carried out between May 15 and May 26, 1978 at Acadia National Park. This survey was necessitated by the proposed rehabilitation of several sewer systems within the park. The objective of the survey was to locate and delimit possible archeological resources in the areas to be affected by construction.' 'No cultural resources were located in the areas surveyed on Thompson Island, Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, and Sieur de Monts Spring.
