'The purpose of this study is to explore the feasibility of solid waste incineration with energy recovery at either the M.D.I. Regional High School or Hancock County Airport. This report includes investigation of air quality standards, evaluation of solid waste incinerators with emphasis on the Olivine unit, feasibility of proposed sites, presentation of residue disposal options, estimation of costs for incinerator alternavies, discussion of available sources of funding and grants-in-aid, and our recommendations and conclusions.' /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /MOUNT DESERT ISLAND/Worcester Landfill
