FIELD WORK: April - June 1986. WATER QUALITY: Conducted spring and fall water column monitoring in 1986. Measures stream flow, flushing rate, clarity, chemical composition, temperature, salinity, nutrients, and oxygen content of Somes Sound. In addition chemical analysis was performed on 13 streams to assess nutrient transport into the Sound. Constituents measured for streams include: phosphorous, nitrogen, silica, aluminum, pH, and conductivity. Also gives pH of rain water during the study.
