Sand Beach lab report

Hazard K. 1972. Sand Beach lab report

Field exercise was designed to determine the linear distribution and abundance of the major dune plants; to measure the intensity of some environmental factors which might influence that distribution; and to observe the adaptations of plants to the relatively rigorous dune environment. Measured the beach profile, vegetation (percent cover) along a transect, salt spray distribution, stability of the substratum, and temperature of the substratum. /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /MOUNT DESERT ISLAND/Sand Beach/
