On January 5, 1994, the Division of Cultural Resources Management submitted a task directive to the superintendents of Acadia National Park (ACAD) and Boston National Historical Park (BOS1) for the Branch of Museum Services to catalog a portion of the herbarium collection at Acadia National Park. A scope of work describing the work to be accomplished was submitted with the task directive. The goal of the project was to catalog 500 herbarium specimens. The project was scheduled to last from January 31, 1994, to March 18, 1994.
