A system of permanent plots is being established in 1993 for the assessment of ozone-induced effects on vegetation. Permanent plot locations are wide-spread and representative of the park, yet are relatively easily accessed using the extensive carriage and hiking trail system in the park. Park boundaries. vegetation cover, topographic features, and roads and trails are available in GIS format.
