The objectives of this study was to 'Identify occurrence and levels of organochlorine and mercury contamination in eggs, blood, feathers, and prey; Determine the relationships between contaminant residues in bald eagles and regional variations in productivity, trophic status, and residues in prey; and Determine if these levels explain the low productivity of Maine's eagles as compared to other populations.'
