'Goal of the project is to determine whether sublethal levels of methyl mercury impair the ability of forage fish to avoid predation and whether methyl mercury affects the activity of the neurotransmitter enzyme, acetylcholinesterase (AChE), in these fish.' Golden shiners, Notemigonus crysoleucas, will be collected in the wild and used in this laboratory study. /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /ACADIA NATIONAL PARK/
