Field work was conducted at 30 wetlands on Mount Desert Island. At each study site, ultraviolet radiation measurements, water quality (pH, specific conductance, alkalinity, apparent color), and habitat characterization data were collected. Table 2 lists the species of amphibians detected at each site and notes the presence of beaver and fish. Table 3 summarizes water chemistry data for each wetland. For each site, includes pH, ANC, conductivity, color, date collected, date run, time collected, air temperature, water temperature, percent cloud cover, and wind speed.
