This report contains a summary of historical loosestrife management at Acadia, detailed descriptions of the monitoring effort, and descriptions of the methods for suppression effort. Appendix A contains the purple loosestrife action plan from Acadia's integrated pest management plan. Appendix B contains a list of known locations (current and historic) of purple loosestrife on Mount Desert Island. Appendix C contains descriptions to the permanent monitoring grid locations.
