Angelos LP. 1997. 1997 Peregrine falcon report: Acadia National Park. Acadia National Park

A report on peregrine falcons nesting in Acadia National Park during the year 1997. The three successful nests-one at the Precipice, one at Beech Cliffs, and one at Jordan Cliffs-are described. The report provides information on biological monitoring, visitor outreach and education, and media coverage, and gives recommendations for future work. Appendices include graphs of 1997 visitor statistics; several editions of The View from the Eyrie, the peregrine falcon newsletter; daily observations; important dates and data throughout the years of the study; and banding records.
