'Correlation analysis showed there was no simple relationship between ozone levels in the park and the number of populations exhibiting ozone injury.' Results of surveys conducted in Acadia National Park from 1992 to 1997 to determine ozone impact and to determine the feasibility of using a point-based sampling system to assess ozone injury. Includes summaries of the survey results for each year, a discussion of injury patterns over all years, genetic variation in plant response to ozone, plant response to variation in Ozone exposure, plant response to moisture availability, relationship between foliar injury and plant fitness, and recommendations for management. /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /ACADIA NATIONAL PARK/
