Following portions taken from executive summary: 'Annual monitoring of L. salicaria stem numbers was conducted along transect four in each of seven permanent monitoring grids. No L. salicaria stems were present in Grids 1-6; one stem was counted in Grid 7.' 'All L. salicaria plants within the park (except Old Farm site) received 1% glyphosate herbicide solution treatment and post spray mortality evaluation; plants were re-sprayed if necessary. Florwring heads were removed from plants prior to spraying. Two non-park sites received herbicide treatment after obtaining land owner permission. A total of 74 personnel hours were spent, and 5.8 gallong of glyphosate solution were used at eleven park and two non-park sites.' 'Surveys for L. salicaria were conducted both in areas where it previously grew, and in 15 areas that have never had L. salicaria but contained suitable habitat. One new L. salicaria population was found within park boundaries, and one new site was documented outside the park.'
