Lake monitoring report 1998-2000

Breen R, Gawley W, Fraser M, Dumais H. 2002. Lake monitoring report 1998-2000. ANP Natural Resource Report 2002-03. Acadia National Park

From the monitoring objectives: "The primary objective of the ANP freshwater monitoring program is to better understand the natural processes and human-induced factors that affect aquatic ecosystem structure and function. In order to measure human-induced changes it is necessary to determine the normal variability inherent in natural aquatic systems, and to establish baseline conditions from which future changes can be detected."
