A survey of the Island Explorer. 'This memo presents the results of an onboard passenger survey carried out on Island Explorer busses betweeen August 17 and August 22, 1999. Highlights and key findings are summarized in this opening section. More detailed anaylsis of survey results is presented in Sections 2 through 12. A sample copy of the survey form is attached as Appendix A. A full transcription of passenger comments is included as Appendix B. Island Explorer passengers responded very favorably to the new island-wide bus service. Riders were nearly unanimous in thier support for the overall service concerpt, with 99.7% idicating that it is important that the service be continued in future years.' /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /MOUNT DESERT ISLAND/
