'Ultraviolet-B (UV-B, 280 nm to 320 nm wavelengths) doses were estimated for 1024 wetlands in six National Parks; Acadia (ACAD), Glacier (GLAC), Great Smoky Mountains (GRSM), Olympic (OL YM), Rocky Mountain (ROMO), and Sequoia/Kings Canyon (SEKI).' From Article, 'Prediction of UVR exposure, or correlation of exposure levels with observed effects is also difficult due to the extreme variability in UVR exposure over most organism's ranges. This is particularly true of species that reside in aquatic systems where, in addition to the factors that control terrestrial UVR exposure, unique factors characteristic of aquatic environments significantly affect UVR exposure ((Holm-Hansen et al. 1993) (Hader and Worrest 1991) (Hader D.P. et al. 1998) (Williamson 1995) (Calkins and Thordardottir 1980)).'
