A description of the carrying capacity of the Carriage Roads FIELD WORK: 2005 A portion from the Executive Summary: "Carriage roads were monitored for crowding in 2005 using established methods. Estimations of carriage road use indicate that the crowding standard was not violated and that carriage road use levels were similar previous years. Five days exceeded 2,000 visitors per day, with the highest at 2,396 on August 2. Ten years of data show no trend of either increasing or decreasing use." Appendices include: Appendix 1: Statistical analysis of trail counter (Tc) and census data 2001-2002; Appendix 2: Estimated daily carriage road use from Trail Counter counts - June 9 to October 31, 2005.
