A description of beaver activity at two ponds. From the introduction of report: 'Two sites Schooner Head Pond and Beaver Dam Pond - were repeatedly visited during the survey from September 24 till October 3, 2007 in order to find out the number of beavers inhabiting these sites and to observe their behavior in this season. Both sites were visited four-times in the evening hours before dusk. The duration of each observation was from 50 min up to 1 hour 45 min and varied mostly depending on weather.' /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /Acadia National Park/Schooner Head Pond/Beaver Dam Pond/
