Portions of following taken from abstract: 'In 2005, a total of 24 revegation sites were planted or maintained in Acadia National Park. Goals for revegetation projects included restoring native vegetation following construction and trail maintenance, mitigating visitor degredation, and establishing screening. Eighteen new sites were revegetated using genetically native plants and seed. Additionally 131 previously revegetated sub-sites at Seawall Campground were quantitatively monitored for revegetation progress. A total of 12.1 acres of park land were planted and 393 personnel hous were invested in revegetation in 2005.'... Report describes details, including details on species used at each site, of revegetation projects accomplished.
