Identification of moth specimens from 22-23 July 2008 trapping efforts on Mount Desert Island, park headquarters. Research recommendations: fresh material can be identified more readily by eye, perhaps 5 times as many moths could have been processed in half the time, and the end product would have been both more appealing and more useful for future identifications. /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /MOUNT DESERT ISLAND/McFarland Hill
