This report describes the activities and accomplishments of the Northeast Temperate Network's Biological Inventories, Vital Signs, and Water Quality Monitoring programs. 'The network is in the second year of implementation of three core monitoring protocols (forest health, lakes and streams, and forest and grassland birds). Wetland, forest salamander, rare woodland community, and coastal bird protocols were pilot-tested inFY 2007, and a rocky intertidal project was initiated.' /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /ACADIA NATIONAL PARK/
