FIELD WORK: 8 June - 29 October 1984 and 5 June - 13 October 1985. Cloud water was collected at three montane and 1 coastal site in New England. Presents pH data and concentrations of sulfate, nitrate, and hydrogen ammonium in cloud and rain water. Field pH of fog water in Bar Harbor averaged 3.8. 31% of all cloud water events sampled in Bar Harbor had pH of less than, or equal to 3.4 /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /MOUNT DESERT ISLAND/Bar Harbor
