FIELD WORK: April 21 to May 28, 1997. Small mammal live trapping was conducted on a small parcel of land owned by College of the Atlantic. A total of 80 sherman live traps were set over 15 nights for a total of 640 trap nights. 22 small mammals were capture: 19 deer mice (Peromyscus maniculatus), 1 red squirrel, 1 northern flying squirrel, and 1 meadow vole. White-tail deer, snowshoe hare, raccoon, and red fox were also verified on the property. /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /MOUNT DESERT ISLAND/Indian Point
