Graphical and Numerical Summaries of Deposition Occurring in Acadia National Park 1981-1984

Cowan M and University of Maine at Presque Isle. 1985. Graphical and Numerical Summaries of Deposition Occurring in Acadia National Park 1981-1984

A description of deposition over several years. FIELD WORK: 1981-85. 'The data graphed on the following pages was compiled from water analysis done by the Central Analytical Lab-Illinois State Water Survey. Acadia National Park participates in the National Atmospheric Deposition Program which is monitoring the deposition occurring in the park over an extended time period.' 'The purpose of the paper is to graphically demonstrate trends in deposition over the last several years. Graphical and Numerical information covers the years 1981-1984 with graphical information extended for the substances pH and conductivity until May 1985. The substances graphed are: Ca, Mg, K, Na, Cl, lab pH, lab conductivity, sulfates as SO4, nitrates as NO3, ammonium as NH4, and phosphates as PO4.' Using NADP data this report graphically demonstrates trends in deposition. Substances graphed include: calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, Cl, lab pH, lab conductivity, sulfates as SO4, nitrates as NO3, ammonia as NH4, and phosphates as PO4 . /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /ACADIA NATIONAL PARK/
