Drennan MP, Folger DC, Treyball C, College of the Atlantic. 1986. Petit Manan National Wildlife Refuge, 1985; Changes in Nesting Seabird Populations After Two Years of Gull Management

Peregrines: On July 21, 1985, a young Peregrine Falcon was observed around Petit Manan and was identified as a female recently released in Acadia National Park. The falcon was present intermittently until August 3. During this time, she was observed killing at least 12 terns. Recommends that the future release dates for hacked Peregrines be 2 to 3 weeks later than normal /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /ISLANDS/Petit Manan Island/
