A description of nesting bird populations. Summarizes the 1987 fieldwork and results of seabird management on Petit Manan Island. BIRDS - PEREGRINE FALCON: During 1987, a peregrine falcon that had been released from Acadia National Park in 1984 or 1985 visited Petit Manan Island on 43 days between May 16 and August 29th, making a total of 35 kills, 29 of which were terns. The peregrine visits are described in detail and the overall affect on the tern colony (this year) was thought to be minimal /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /ISLANDS/Petit Manan Island/
