FIELD WORK: 28 July - 21 August1995. FLORA - VASCULAR: Report summarizes surveys of aquatic vascular plants for 27 ponds and lakes and 3 streams on Mount Desert Island. Table lists species noted for each pond/lake visited. A total of 77 species were noted including '7 species currently listed or proposed for listing on Maine's Official List of Endangered and Threatened Plants. An additional 15 species, while not state-listed, seem to be locally rare in ACAD. At least 2 species of historic occurrence in ACAD ponds have not been relocated in the past 20 years.'
