FIELD WORK: Winter 1988-89. BIRDS: Summarizes the numbers of Harlequin Ducks (and other seabird species) observed during surveys of the south shore of Isle au Haut and on islands and ledges to the east. Roughly 350 Harlequins were found to winter in the study area /STUDY LOCATIONS:/ /ISLE AU HAUT/ISLANDS/Great Spoon Island/Little Spoon Island/White Horse/Black Horse/Marshall Island GIS-CATEGORY 2 ; Birds: Maps locations where each species of water bird was seen. Also contains a map of the important feeding locations for Harlequins
