FIELD WORK: April 1986. BIRDS: Notes that there are 15 traditional Bald Eagle nesting areas in the Acadia National Park - greater Frenchman Bay area. Seven of these were occupied by nesting eagles in 1986, with 1.3 eaglets/nest fledged. Rates of production from 1984-86 equal those of the state-wide population. Gives number of breeding areas monitored, number of nests occupied, number of eaglets fledged, per cent nesting success, brood size, and productivity for the Acadia National Park - Frenchman Bay area for 1962-1986..
