FIELD WORK: June 1985. Studied vegetation of 9 seabird nesting islands including Little Duck Island. Sampled 5 habitat types on Little Duck Island: White Spruce, Red Spruce, Meadow, thin-dry, and shrub. For each habitat type, sampled 4 quadrats and notes pH, soil depth, and vegetation height.
