FIELD WORK: Counts were in May, June, July, and September; 1971, 1972, 1977. Noted that seal numbers doubled from 1972 to 1977 mostly on offshore islands. In 1977 Gray Seals were noted near Petit Manan Reef, East Bunker Ledge, Green Islands, Little Duck Island, and John Island Dry Ledge for a total of 10 seals.
