Summarizes data from browse studies conducted 1949-1956. Using the Shaler Aldous method ten key species were assessed. Data is presented for each species in terms of number of plots species was present in, number of plots browsed, average density, average degree of browsing, utilization factor, percent food eaten, and percent browse available. Also compares browsing within and outside of the 1947 burned areas, and in and out of exclosures. Reports a decreasing amount of available browse in both the burned and unburned areas, and an 'overstocked' condition in the burned areas of the park.
