From Introduction, 'Controlling visitor actions and the presence of human foods is a key factor in minimizing wild animal incidents in Acadia National Park's campgrounds.' Visitors often unknowingly create opportunistic foraging areas with their inattentive actions regarding the handling and storing of human foods in the park.
