FIELD WORK: 1980-81. Maps all of the wetlands on Mount Desert Island, Isle au Haut, Schoodic, and other islands that are over 10 acres in size, characterized predominantly by wetland vegetation. Wetlands were identified on aerial photographs flown in 1980-81, and confirmed by soil mapping.
