FLORA - VASCULAR: Notes plants on Isle au Haut, Little Duck, Porcupines, Schoodic, and Baker Islands. Maps locations of the following species; Luminous Moss, Wood Lily, Arctic Iris, Showy Ladyslipper, Bear Oak, Blinks, Greenland Sandwort, Low Starwort, Roseroot, Mountain Ash, Bush Cinquefoil, Wineleaf Cinquefoil, Cloudberry, Broom Crowberry, Purple Eyebright, and Threeleaf Rattlesnake Root. Also maps the occurrence of saltwater and freshwater marshes, forest types, cedar swamps, and bogs. Note: the only occurrence of Skunk Cabbage on Mount Desert Island is between Ship Harbor and Seawall Pond. Bear Oak is at its northern-most station on Mount Desert Island. Schoodic Point location of Jack Pine is the most southerly station on the east coast for an extensive stand.
