3-m Landform Classification
National Park ServiceThomas Colson. 2011. 3-m Landform Classification
The Landform Index is the primary landform data product produced and distributed by the National Park Service, Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Landform Index provides the best available public domain raster landform data of the conterminous park boundary footprint in a seamless format. The Landform Index is derived from diverse source data, processed to a common coordinate system and unit of vertical measure. All landformdata are distributed in Universal Transverse Mercator in units of meters, and in conformance with the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD 83).
