Bright & Company requests approval to revise the drive pipe size and surface casing size in the Plan of Operations for the subject well. This request is in pursuant to 36 CFR 9.40 (a). Part 5 G of the Plan of Operations on page 14 (attached) shows the casing program to consist of 16" drive pipe at 120 ft. and 10-3/4" surface casing in a 14-3/4" hole size at 1800'. The requested revised casing program consists of 14" drive pipe at 120' and 9-5/8" surface casing in a 12-1/4" hole size at 1800'. This change would revise the lead cement (Part 5 H) from 735 sx to 420 sx of Mod. Howco Lt. + 3% salt and the tail cement from 360 sx to 210 sx of CI A. A revised page 14 of the Plan of Operations is attached, showing the above changes. The changes are requested in order to reduce the volume of cuttings that will be generated, to reduce the volume of cement required to cement the surface casing and to reduce the cost of the surface casing.
