This long-range interpretive plan (LRIP) for Cabrillo NM is the first component of the park’s Comprehensive Interpretive Plan (CIP),as outlined in National Park ServiceDirector’s Orders-6 (DO-6). Using thepark purpose and resource significancestatements, combined with the primary interpretive themes and visitorexperience goals, this plan articulates avision for the park’s interpretive future,and recommends the media, facilities,and programs best suited for meetingvisitor needs, achieving management goals, and telling the park stories.
