I have prepared this letter to confirm our conversation of today regarding your pipelines at the referenced location. My client, Bright and Company, proposes to build an oil field road over the referenced pipelines. It is my understanding that your only requirements are that (a) 1.5 feet of ground cover exist between the surface of the road and the top of the pipeline; and (b) this 1.5 feet of cover remain 10 feet either side of the pipeline. Please contact me at your earliest convenience if other safety measures are required for this proposed roadway project. Thank you very much for your helpful assistance.
